Meta has introduced a new restriction on how many links can be included in organic posts and comments published on Facebook Pages. Under the new policy, Page owners are limited to including links in only two organic posts or comments per month. This limit applies specifically to organic content, meaning posts that are not paid advertisements. The monthly limit resets on the first of each month for standard users, while users with specific subscription plans see their limits reset on their respective renewal dates.

To bypass this two-link cap, Meta offers a tiered subscription model called Meta One. Depending on the chosen plan, Page owners can increase their monthly link allowance. For example, the Essential plan (priced at $14.99/month) maintains the two-link limit, while the Advanced plan ($49.99/month) allows for eight links. Higher tiers, such as the Expert and Max plans, offer 20 and unlimited links, respectively. These plans also provide additional features for link posts, such as the ability to customize link preview images from a camera roll and add dedicated call-to-action buttons.

While the policy targets organic content, certain types of links are exempt from these monthly counts. Links to Meta-owned technologies—including Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp, and Threads—do not count toward the limit. Additionally, links for affiliate partners connected through Facebook's official affiliate partnerships and links included in paid advertisements remain unaffected. Unused link posts or comments do not carry over to the following month, meaning the allowance is a 'use it or lose it' monthly quota for Page owners seeking to drive external traffic through organic reach.
